This question transformed when I encountered "Hamlet's Mill," the groundbreaking 1969 work by Giorgio de Santillana and Hertha von Dechend. Their thesis—that myths worldwide encode astronomical knowledge, particularly precession—opened new dimensions for my storytelling.
