10. FBI Books and the Sassy Special Agent Lexi Hunter

Positive or negative connotation depending on the point of view, I prefer attractive, smart women for my books whether FBI thrillers or other fiction. What I mean by attractive is that she takes care of her body, soul, and mind. That is attractive and often, beautiful.

FBI Books Special Agent Lexi Hunter

Sassy and sporty, not necessarily sexually available...only for the right man. Not likely to be killed off easily and tends to be good at one-liners. Sometimes she's human enough to need the help of male protection. She has physical and mental flaws that she is working to overcome. She has an imperfect and very real but adventurous life. She is my fantasy.

My attitude about Lexi is that she doesn't sleep with the man just because he saves her. This might leave him angry and perplexed. But a good man will take it in stride. However, there will be characters, male and female, who will occasionally seek revenge in some way at her disinterest. My distinctive attitude toward the narcissistic world we are in will be evident in my writing.

Lexi is not prudish, and shows a deep interest in sensuality, however, she carries her womanhood within her soul where it is reachable only by the individual she chooses and that will be rare. Her love interest, David Gabriel Lyons, cannot be easily replaced. The death of David had a profound effect on her behavior's and that will hopefully be reflected in my continued writing of the story of Lexi, and Josephine. Honestly, I am not sure Lexi is the marrying type. We won't know until the end, I suspect.

Lexi would love to escape the pains of her lost love, but she is compelled to shy away from advances in the secret hope that someday she might discover David isn't dead. They never found his body after he was taken from the scene in the ambulance. That is a detail she cannot seem to reconcile. While there are no answers from the FBI department at the BAU, the situation feels very much like how she felt when Josephine was kidnapped. There is a constant nagging feeling in her soul that implores her to search.

Lexi is quite simply a stylish, smart, good with guns, believes in moderation, independent yet feminine, exotic when needed, all woman, surviving in FBI waters. Exotically disciplined. Fantastically appealing, classy and intelligent. She might be too much for me!
