3. Ancient Gods: Priests, Chroniclers, and the History of Peru.

Conquistadors, Chroniclers, Giants and Peru
Conquistadors, Chroniclers, Giants and Peru

By now, you know that I most enjoy research that is backed by official historical documentation. I hope you are as curious about this account as I am. The backdrop for my Fallen Race Trilogy is that there were gods on the earth before the great Younger Dryas deluge. And they want to return to the earth....

The entire empire collapsed when the conquistadors overtook the Aztecs and the Inca king. Read "Peru by Prescott," it demonstrates that the Inca initially perceived the Spanish conquistadors, as gods, who were returning, which is why they did not take hostile action against them.

The conquistadors had some chroniclers with them, and in the aftermath of the conquest of Peru in 1534, they were sent to get a survey of the newly conquered land, but also to make sure that the conquistadors were allotting to the crown, the royal fifth of treasure.

Spaniards had to pay a tithe to the Catholic Church in terms of treasure. Plus the royalty of treasure to the Spanish crown. In concert, the Catholic Church was sending priests to the natives, and making sure the dominion of the church was being established in every province.

What this amounts to is an accurate account of what was being discovered and what was happening in Peru, during and after the conquest. Most particularly, what happened to the treasure? This is where our Historical Chronicles of what took place originated. Both the priests and chroniclers were writing the history of Peru.

You can find these historical chronicles and read them in Lima Peru, in old-world Spanish. The researcher I have referenced in this post lived in Peru for 10 years. He documented evidence for giants in Peru. He was working with the historian De La Vega, who was an expert on the Inca in the chronicles of Peru. These chronicles are now in digital format. There were many accounts of giants in the Chronicles.

Remember, these are the historical accounts, from which the history of Peru is derived, written by chroniclers and priests, sent by the king of Spain and the Catholic Church in 1534. In the middle of the stories, the natives, the chroniclers, and the conquistadors are finding the bones of giants all over Peru.

Dozens of accounts are written in the historical chronicles. One famous conquistador wrote an account that they were moving north along the coast of Peru, and they came upon a river bed that had been washed out and had overflowed its banks. This exposed a giant  Sarcophagus, which was open, and inside was the full body of a giant humanoid.

This would discount the notion that it was a dinosaur or giant sloth. The skeleton was so large that the chroniclers recorded that one of the conquistadors placed his blade through the eye socket, and the tip did not touch the back of the skull. A rapier would have been 23 to 30 inches long. That makes the skull deeper than 23 to 30 inches. This would've made the giant 12 feet to 15 feet tall. Chronicles have written that they found giant bones all over the area.

There was a Catholic priest and chronicler who wrote the "Extirpation of the Idolatry in Peru." in today's terms that means the extermination of Peru. This account is recorded when he was accompanying the chronicles and priests after the takeover of the Inca and Aztecs. This traveling group going from village to village and exterminating idolatry were actually exterminating artifacts and relics, they perceived as idolatry. They collected all the relics and burned them, murdered shamans, and the culture.

One fascinating account written with great detail, highlighted by a Peruvian historian, De La Vega tells of a group of Catholic priests and representatives of the Spanish crown, who entered a village of Peruvians. When they inquired who their gods were, and where they could be found, the natives led them to a cave. In the chronicle, it says they realize the natives were worshiping something in the cave.

When they entered the cave, the first thing they found were the bodies of many dead natives that had been sacrificed to whatever they were worshiping in the cave. The objects of worship were several giants or skeletons that were propped up or seated and mummified. They were dressed in the native attire or ceremonial clothing. These were their idols. The chroniclers say they were six times the size of humans. even if we were being conservative, we would be talking about giants that were over 10 feet tall. Again, the chroniclers say six times the size of a normal person.

The natives told the delegation of surveyors and chroniclers that these giants were their ancestors. Their chronicles record that the giants had disfigured skulls. That might be interpreted as elongated skulls. These documents that hold this information are the very same that the history of Peru is derived from and not an esoteric document that isn't official.

The delegation removed the giants from the cave and burned the bodies in the village. Then they forcefully converted the natives to Catholicism, killing anyone who refused. That is simply two stories out of dozens of those that were officially chronicled. Because many accounts speak of bracelets, necklaces, and ornaments, we are not talking about dinosaurs.

The natives told the delegation of conquistadors, chroniclers, and priests, that long ago a race of giants had inhabited their land. Those giants were destroyed in a flood. Not only that but in one account, the natives told the conquistadors that the giants that inhabited their land before the flood were larger than those that lived there after the flood. For those who follow the biblical text, that corresponds with Genesis six, and also Joshua's account of the conquest of the promised land, encountering giants, that were smaller in stature than those that were in Enoch's pre-flood world account.

Some of the bones are spoken of in the stories after the conquest of Lima had been established. You had the treasure and artifacts that were filtering through Lima, and going onto Spain. Among the artifacts brought to Lima, were the bones of giants. There is one account when the bones of giants were still in Lima in the 1600s and the chronicler rights that he examined them and they were indeed humanoid gigantic bones.

We are simply talking about Peru. We haven't touched the giants of Central America or the Middle East. The fact of giants in prehistory has become undeniable.
