It's been quite some time since I've posted about the Precession of the Equinox. I was fascinated with the subject when I wrote my first book in the Fallen Race Trilogy. I was pulled back into its mystery as I watched the news. There are so many natural disasters happening all around the world. Floods, fires, earthquakes. I was most surprised recently by the flooding in Russia and Dubai, although maybe it is linked to weather control by man. It makes a person think. Aside from the conspiracy that the elite are controlling the weather, there are some cyclical patterns in nature I like to study. I won't tell you of the conspiracy in my books. You'll have to read them. A theory I am most interested in is that there are planets in our solar cycle that we may not see for thousands of years, but when they come close to Earth and swing around on their cycle back into the further reaches of their orbit, they create havoc on our planet.
The precession of the equinox is an astronomical phenomenon caused by the slow, gradual wobble in Earth's rotation axis. This wobble causes the positions of the equinoxes to drift westward along the plane of the ecliptic relative to fixed stars, completing one full cycle approximately every 26,000 years. This cycle is often referred to as the Platonic Year. The precession affects the timing of the seasons and is divided into 12 segments, each representing an age named after the zodiac constellation in which the vernal equinox occurs. Currently, we are transitioning from the Age of Pisces to the Age of Aquarius.
Some theories and myths suggest that these ages correlate with significant natural events or disasters. These interpretations, often rooted in ancient texts and legends, propose that alignments with certain planets, or encounters with astronomical bodies such as comets, have historically led to natural disasters. Think about the different stone calendars all over the Earth. Stone Henge is no longer the oldest. They've discovered older stone calendars that blow the mind.
I was enticed to research the Precession of the Equinox because of conspiracies surrounding the Vatican. The focus of my first book in the trilogy is their telescope on Mt Graham nicknamed LUCIFER. (In reality not as ominous as it sounds) The Vatican has a long tradition of scholarly pursuits, including astronomy. Many Christian holidays and rituals are historically linked to astronomical events. They established the Vatican Observatory in the late 16th century to reform the calendar and better understand celestial phenomena.
Gregorian Calendar: One of the primary reasons for the Vatican's interest was to correct the Julian calendar. This reform, implemented by Pope Gregory XIII in 1582, aimed to align the calendar more accurately with the equinoxes to ensure that Easter, a significant Christian holiday, would be celebrated in the correct season.
Theological Implications: Many ancient cultures linked celestial phenomena with divine action. Understanding these events helped the Church address and integrate such beliefs into its doctrine.
Conspiracy theories abound when it comes to the idea of planets or other celestial bodies entering our solar system and causing catastrophic events on Earth. There are a few conspiracies I find interesting. But the Vatican gives time and attention to certain theories and that has me interested.
The Planet Nibiru: This is perhaps the most famous of the doomsday theories. The basic claim is that a large planetary object, often called Nibiru or Planet X, periodically enters the inner solar system, causing catastrophic events on Earth. These alleged events include massive earthquakes, tsunamis, and shifts in the Earth’s poles. Advocates often link this theory to various ancient civilizations like the Sumerians and their gods.
My Trilogy is about the gods trying to access Earth again after many thousand years of exile. It is a subtle message in the first two books but more dominant in the third.
