Nora Brennan is sixty-three, newly divorced and finally ready to decide what comes next.

She packs up her butter-gold Volkswagen bus, Marigold, and heads south along the Pacific Coast. The plan is simple. Revisit beautiful places, make a few new memories and rediscover the woman she was before life became complicated.

But somewhere along the Oregon Coast, Nora begins noticing the same stranger. At first, she dismisses it as coincidence. Then people begin dying.

The deaths appear unrelated. Accidents. Bad luck. Tragedies that happen in places where cliffs, ocean currents and winding coastal roads can be unforgiving. Nora spent too many years as a private investigator to ignore what her instincts are telling her.

Something connects these deaths.
And someone may be following the Marigold.

Shoreline Secrets is the first book in Melissa Saulnier’s Follow the Marigold mystery series, a journey through the Pacific Coast where beautiful places, old memories and unexpected danger travel the same road.
